# Remote team members now show their role

> Agno's RemoteAgent.role and RemoteTeam.role are now properties, so a team's instructions describe each remote member by its real role.

When an Agno team builds its instructions, it now reads each remote member's real role from `RemoteAgent.role` or `RemoteTeam.role`. Both used to be plain methods, unlike `name` and `description`. The team read `member.role` and wrote the method's representation into the prompt for every remote member, on every run:

```text
Before: Role: <bound method RemoteAgent.role of RemoteAgent(...)>
Now:    Role: Greets users warmly and asks how their day is going
```

The team leader can now route tasks by each member's role. If your own code called `.role()`, change it to `.role`.
