# Show a headline number on agent charts

> Agno agents can add one summary figure to a chart through `ChartTools.create_chart()`. The optional `value` argument takes a preformatted string such as "$22.3K" or "94%".

Your agent can now lead a chart with one number. Agno's `ChartTools` adds an optional `value` argument to `create_chart()`, and Agno OS shows that figure beside the chart title.

```python
ChartTools().create_chart(
    chart_type="bar",
    data=rows,
    config={"revenue": "Revenue ($)"},
    title="Monthly revenue",
    value="$139K",
    x_key="month",
)
```

We ran this call with six months of revenue rows on both releases, and earlier releases reject the argument. Real output:

```text
Before: TypeError: ChartTools.create_chart() got an unexpected keyword argument 'value'
Now:    "value": "$139K",
```

The figure can be a total or a latest value, and it arrives already formatted. A chart of averages or rates may have no honest single number, so the model gets told to leave the argument out in that case.
