AIMLAPI requests now carry attribution headers

September 8, 20261 min read

Agno's AIMLAPI model adds the four headers below to every request, so AI/ML API can see which traffic comes from Agno. They carry no user data and don't affect routing, model selection or billing.

HeaderWhat it carries
HTTP-RefererThe Agno repository URL
X-TitleAgno
X-AIMLAPI-Partner-IDAgno's partner ID with AI/ML API
X-AIMLAPI-Sourceagent/agno

You can inspect the headers as agno.models.aimlapi.AIMLAPI_HEADERS and override any of them per model with default_headers. Where a key clashes, yours wins.

from agno.models.aimlapi import AIMLAPI

model = AIMLAPI(default_headers={"X-Title": "My App"})

The AIMLAPI default model also moves from the retired gpt-4o-mini to gpt-5.6-luna.
