Turns your agents into a secure and durable API and MCP server

Meet AgentOS

AgentOS is a high-performance runtime for your agents. It runs your agents, gives them access to context, traces every action, enforces agent- and tool-level governance and provides role-based access control for end-users

A production API and MCP server

AgentOS turns your agents into a production-grade FastAPI application: 80+ endpoints, MCP server, request isolation, JWT-based RBAC, durability, tracing.

Any agent, any framework

AgentOS is a multi-framework runtime. It can run agents built with Agno, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK or DSPy with more integrations on the way.

Open-source, self-hosted, private

AgentOS runs in your cloud and your data, traces and metrics live in your database. Take control of your data, context and improvement loop.

Get started with one prompt

Pick your cloud and hand the prompt to your coding agent. It clones the template for that cloud, sets up your platform and builds your first agent

Mission control for your agent platform

AgentOS comes with a control plane for your agent platform. It connects to your runtime directly from your browser, sharing no data with Agno

Full visibility into your agent platform

Traces, sessions and metrics are stored in your AgentOS's database and stream live from your runtime to your control plane.

Govern every action

Human in the loop, audit logs and admin approvals. Your control plane gives you full control over every action and request.

No data leaves your infrastructure

Your browser connects to your runtime directly. No proxy, no data path through Agno, nothing for your security team to review.

FastAPI for agents

AgentOS does for agents what FastAPI did for web apps. Serve agents as a horizontally scalable service that you can call from any frontend

80+ production endpoints

Runs, sessions, streaming, learnings, knowledge, traces. All exposed the moment you connect an agent. OpenAPI spec, SSE-compatible streaming.

Durable sessions

Long-running conversations that survive restarts, replicas and infrastructure failures. Sessions persist for minutes, days or weeks.

Request isolation

Every request is independent. Thousands of customers can hit the same agent and no state bleeds between users, agents or sessions.

Stateless and horizontally scalable

Add replicas to add capacity. The runtime carries no per-replica state, so it scales the same way the rest of your stack does.

Failure isolation

Agent loops crash. Tool calls time out. Sandboxes die mid-run. The runtime catches every failure, persists the session and keeps the service up.

Multi-framework support

Agno, LangGraph, DSPy, the Claude Agent SDK or your own code. Served through AgentOS Runtime, they behave identically. Nothing to rewrite.

Governance and guardrails

Protect against PII leaks, prompt-injection and jailbreaks. Enforce human-in-the-loop and admin approvals at the runtime layer.

Use your own identity provider

Continue using your authentication system. AgentOS validates every request against your JWT setup, your JWKS endpoint and your providers.

JWT-based RBAC

Every endpoint is authenticated and authorized. The runtime validates tokens, checks scopes and rejects requests without the right permissions.

Frequently asked questions

AgentOS is a high-performance runtime for agents. It serves your agents, teams and workflows as a FastAPI application with 80+ endpoints, an MCP server, streaming, durable sessions, tracing and scheduling built in.

No. AgentOS runs agents built with the Agno SDK, LangGraph, DSPy, the Claude Agent SDK or plain Python code. Agno agents get the deepest integration, but nothing needs a rewrite.

In your infrastructure. AgentOS runs as a container in your VPC and uses your database. The Control Plane connects your browser straight to the runtime. Your data never leaves your systems and Agno sees nothing.

Every endpoint is authenticated and authorized. Start with a single security key for local dev. Move to JWT-based RBAC in production, or bring your own tokens from any provider (WorkOS, Auth0, Okta and more). Use multiple issuers at once. Roles apply at the platform, runtime and end-user levels. AgentOS enforces them on the next request with no redeploy.

AgentOS is durable and stateless by design. All state is stored in your database which makes horizontal scaling possible. Just add replicas as your usage grows. The runtime carries no per-replica state, so it scales the same way the rest of your stack does.

Runs execute on durable queues and survive disconnects, restarts and crashes. Failure isolation keeps the service up while sessions persist in your database and pick up where they stopped.

Yes. AgentOS is built on FastAPI, so you can extend the app with your own routes, middleware and dependencies. Your custom routes live right alongside the built-in ones.

AgentOS is a FastAPI application. You can deploy it anywhere you can run a container. Use your cloud providers container service, run it on Docker or Kubernetes.

AgentOS Control Plane is the UI for your agent platform: chat, sessions, traces, evaluations, memory and approvals for every running agent. It connects from your browser straight to your runtime, giving you full privacy and control over your data.

Yes. AgentOS runs on its own as a FastAPI service. The Control Plane is an optional layer that provides visibility, governance and management for your whole platform.

AgentOS ships with the SDK under Apache 2.0 and runs on the cloud spend you've already committed. No egress fees, no vendor markup, no second bill. Paid plans only add live control plane features. Please see the pricing page for more details.
